Country house El Castañar:

Are a group of four independent houses of one Holm oak category integrated in a four hectares wood of chestnut and pine trees, located in the magnificent place of Puerto Roque, country side of Valencia de Alcantara near the Portuguese border, at Km 149+800 of N-521, at 1.5 Km far from Portugal.

The zone called Sierra Fria is near the nature reserve of São Mamede.

From Cáceres, get N-521 Portugal direction till Km 149+800, between the crossroads of Jola and the Crossroads of El Pino.

And you will see El Castañar!
