Location:

Country house El Castañar, are a group of four independent houses of one Holm oak category integrated in a four hectares wood of chestnut and pine trees, located in the magnificent place of Puerto Roque, country side of Valencia de Alcantara near the Portuguese border.

The zone called Sierra Fria is near the nature reserve of Sao Mamede at Km 149+800 of N-521, at 1.5 Km far from Portugal.

From Cáceres, get N-521 Portugal direction till Km 149+800, between the crossroads of Jola and the Crossroads of El Pino.
